I study how connections to global markets influence the social, environmental, and economic sustainability of food and natural resource systems.

I am a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University in the Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences. I completed my PhD in Sustainability at Arizona State University, where I received training across multiple disciplinary boundaries including formal training in PhD core microeconomics and econometrics. My ongoing work focuses on seafood supply chains and falls into three broad categories: 1) non-tariff trade barriers and environmental sustainability, 2) socioeconomic impacts of tariffs on resource-dependent communities, and 3) improvements to retail food price forecasting methods.
